It is one of the most famous names in Lebanon County basketball lore. And it brings instant credibility to the Annville-Cleona boys’ basketball program.
But most importantly for the Little Dutchmen, it brings hope.
Former Lebanon High star and Ephrata head coach Jason Coletti was recently hired as the new Annville-Cleona boys’ basketball team’s head coach. After being away from the game for the past two seasons, Coletti takes over a Little Dutchmen program which has struggled over the last few years.
A 1994 graduate of Lebanon, Coletti was a stand-out guard on some pretty good Cedar teams in the early 90s. In addition to the Ephrata boys’ job, Coletti also has coaching experience with Manheim Central as a girls’ head coach and at Columbia as a boys’ assistant.
Coletti takes over for Chris Bradford, who stepped away from the program in the spring, after five seasons at the helm. During Bradford’s time as the head coach, Annville-Cleona struggled to compete in Section Three of the Lancaster-Lebanon League, and to earn District Three playoff berths.
Coletti and his family reside in the Annville-Cleona school district.
