Swing, and a Long Drive. Watch That Baby. Outta Here!

A more unique sporting event in Lebanon County one would be hard-pressed to find.
Karl ‘Skip’ Wolf will conduct his annual baseball hitting contest on Saturday at Coleman Memorial Field on the north side of Lebanon. Proceeds from the event will go to improve and maintain the baseball fields at Coleman’s.
The contest will begin at 10 a.m. and run through 8 p.m. In the event of inclement weather, the contest will be conducted on Sunday, from noon to 8 p.m..
The entry fee is $6 per person, which gets competitors 25 pitches to swing for the fences. Points are earned by how far the baseball travels off the bat.
Competition will be conducted in six age categories and prizes will be awarded to the top finishers. Players are asked to provide their own bats, helmets and batting-practice pitchers, if available.
