Justin Edwards always spoke about how he believed that conceptually the Annville-Cleona boys’ basketball program should be ‘a player’ annually in the Lancaster-Lebanon Section Four and District Three Class AA pictures. If in fact the Little Dutchmen are to ascend to that position, it will be without Edwards.
Edwards, a former Little Dutchman himself, recently resigned the A-C head coaching position he held for the last two seasons. Edwards apparently left his alma matter to take a junior varsity coaching position with the boys’ basketball program at Hershey High School.
Last season, the Little Dutchmen went 4-19 under Edwards’ guidance. In his two years at A-C, the program compiled a combined mark of 12-33.
Edwards is currently a fourth-grade teacher in the Derry Township school district.
