A unique event for a worthy cause. What else is there to know?
Well, here are some specifics.
The 32nd annual Coleman Memorial Park Baseball Hitting Contest will be contested on Saturday, August 11th at the lower diamond in the park off Route 72, in the northern part of the city of Lebanon. The popular event will be held from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and the rain date is Sunday, August 12th.
The entry fee is $8 and proceeds will be used to maintain and upgrade the baseball fields in the park. Each contestant will get 25 pitches and participants are urged to bring their own bats and helmets.
Prizes will be awarded in six different categories – youth, teener, legion, adult, women and seniors.
