Then he told me that im an astounding football player and that im one of the best sophomores he’s seen in a long time and to keep doing what im doing and don’t let my head down. It meant a lot coming from the teams coach that just beat us.

Proudest athletic moments: I have several since 1969, but I will mention golf events only since I have done this most of my adult life. Winning the Lebanon County Amateur is important on my list along with reaching the finals of the WB Sullivan Golf tournament in 2009; winning the Lebanon County Senior in 2006 & 2007; winning the better ball championship at Tyoga Country Club in 2009; winning four club championships at Lebanon Valley GC; and winning the Pine Meadows Summer Classic in 2009.

Proudest athletic moment: Participating in the Goodwill Tennis tour in the Philippines in 2007. Three pros from the US toured the Philippines to share tennis tips with the tennis teachers/ pros. The tour was sponsored by the U.S. Embassy. We visited seven different cities over a one-month span.

Favorite athlete: John Isner. John is well-rounded in sports. He did not just vocus on one sport growing up. He participate in several different sports including basketball. He played four years in college. He is a team player. He did not leave college to play pro before graduating. Now he is excelling in tennis on the tour. He represents the US with grace. He is unassuming – not baggy. He comes from a balanced home life with good parents and loving brothers. He is a great role model for the young, up-and -oming tennis players.
